Business workshops for secondary school students

GreenCollege runs workshops on how to start and run a small business. We work with secondary students at partner schools in Singapore, and we don’t sell anything to students or parents.

Sessions take place in a normal classroom during the school day, with a teacher from the school present throughout. The two founders write the materials and deliver every session.

GreenCollege is run by two secondary school students. If you’re considering a session at your school, the Safeguarding page sets out who is in the room and what we’d ask of you.

What a session looks like

A session runs for two to three hours, fitted to the school’s timetable. We start by teaching one idea — how to find a problem someone would pay to solve, for example. Students then apply it in class, working in small groups on a real example. At the end, each group says what they came up with, and every student leaves with a printed pack and links to free resources for taking it further.

We bring the printed worksheets. Nothing to install, no accounts to set up, and no student needs a device.
